   He is definitely a celebrity. He is a very talented celebrity, but a celeb nonetheless. He’s gossip topic completely unrelated to his musical talent.

   After reading his latest Rolling Stone inter iew and seeing the pictures he’s a total celeb. None of his Guitar heroes would be caught dead doing a shirtless model in bed layout.

   I think he COULD be either, but he’s definitely more interested in being a celebrity than a serious artist. Maybe in time…

   Bruce, I agree. John Mayer’s stupid mouth strikes again. It’s too bad because he’s one of the most talented musicians out there…My guess is eventually he will come back around – but he will need to mature first.

   Any of us who saw him before he was Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend or a Hollywood resident or a VH1 Storytellers guy knows he is a wonderfully talented musician. I remember the chills that crawled over me while watching him play Love Song for No One at the 40 Watt in Athens. I agree, Allison..I think he’ll come back around to being all about what it’s really all about–guitar and voice and lyrics.
